Trust Accounting For ACCPAC Advantage Series

Overview
 

Trust Accounting for ACCPAC is a general purpose Trust Accounting application written in the ACCPAC development environment. It allows unlimited trust accounts per client and unlimited bank accounts per trust. Trust Accounting keeps track of client funds in total and per trust and per bank account.

 

Features
 

Trust Accounting allows input and processing of receipt, payment and adjustment batches. Reports include statements and
transaction listings as well as the usual posting journals, setup reports etc.

Trust Accounting integrates with Bank Services and optionally General Ledger. Being a true ACCPAC module, it has the ACCPAC ‘look and feel’ and works with the standard ACCPAC reporting, security, macros, context sensitive help, import / export, data integrity etc.

Currently only works with single currency databases. Next version will be multicurrency.

All databases supported by ACCPAC Advantage Series are compatible.

Membership Manager is a new ACCPAC Advantage Series module written in the SDK that provides Membership database management, dues/subscriptions, events, chapters, committees etc.

Integrates with the full suite of ACCPAC including CRM.

 

Mozambique Currency Revaluation

Dingosoft has developed a currency revaluation utility for Accpac users in Mozambique. The Mozambique Metical is being divided by 1000 on July 1st this year. Dingosoft was asked to provide a solution for Mozambique users following our success with the euro currency conversion.

These types of utilities are not as simple as they sound. You can’t just go and divide every amount by 1000 as you will end up with rounding errors throughout the database. You have to start with the detail level and then manually recreate all the data above that. This requires an intimate knowledge of the Accpac database.
