Mozambique Currency
Revaluation
Dingosoft has developed a currency
revaluation utility for Accpac users in Mozambique. The Mozambique
Metical is being divided by 1000 on July 1st this year. Dingosoft
was asked to provide a solution for Mozambique users following our
success with the euro currency conversion.
These types of utilities are not as
simple as they sound. You can’t just go and divide every amount by 1000
as you will end up with rounding errors throughout the database. You have to
start with the detail level and then manually recreate all the data above
that. This requires an intimate knowledge of the Accpac database.
